The holder of the project is the Slavonian Oak Wood Cluster, and the partners in the project are the Faculty of Forestry, the University of Zagreb, and the Vinkovci School of Carpentry.
President of the Wood Cluster SLAVONIAN OAK, Ph.D. Josip Faletar signed a grant agreement in Zagreb for the project Strengthening the capacity of the SLAVONIAN OAK Wood Cluster for the popularization of STEM (WOOD4STEM).
The value of the project is HRK 1.716.735,46 HRK and 100% will be financed from the European Social Fund, Operational Program Effective Human Resources 2014-2020.
The importance of forestry and wood technology
The Wood4STEM project is aimed at popularizing biotechnical sciences through inclusive and targeted awareness-raising on the importance of forestry and wood technology as an area of STEM.
The project will carry out 50 interactive and creative workshops and playrooms with children in kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and in municipalities and cities in Vukovar-Srijem Country over a period of 24 months.
